The New Mini

The improved and even newer new mini is launched in the UK in 2006. All round improvements are claimed and practice would appear to back this up, even though the outgoing model was an excellent performer in all respects. Visually the new mini is almost unchanged from the original new mini. Some have criticised the new car's steering as being less precise than the up to 2006 mini, while others say that its overall handling is every bit as good as that of the old mini.

We expect residuals for the new mini to be extremely good given the performance in the first 3 years of the old vehicle's life. Even with the launch of a new model range, the outgoing car commands great used prices compared to equivalent models from other manufacturers

Please Note : performance figures quoted are for manual version.
Most Automatic versions of the new mini have a lower top speed of 115 mph, slightly slower 0-60 acceleration (about .3 seconds slower than the manual) and slightly higher C02 ratings and fuel consumptions. Please check the precise values with your dealer.
