First and foremost, Pictures of Cars is a resource for the public who want to find pictures of their favourite cars. We are also about to start an "Owner's Garage" where our users can post pics of their vehicle.

Please send us your pictures of your car and we'll include them in the first issue of the garage. The more unusual your car the better, though we'd like to include at least one set of pics of every vehicle on the market so don't feel you have to have the ultimate supercar to qualify for the garage. Everyone is welcome.

Using our Pictures in the media

Pictures of Cars offers pictures of cars to the public and the media. All our pictures are available in high resolution versions suitable for printed media or for framing as gifts for family, friends and colleagues. We have many pics that aren't yet posted on the site, so if you don't find the picture you're looking for, mail us and we'll either source it from our vast collection, or else tell you where you can find it. We also have partners who can enhance pictures to meet your requirements - for example the work carried out on the Jaguar in the above shot. At the present time, about 98% of the pictures on this site are our own property and we can provide you with the right to use them.

We are very proud to have contributed pictures to a number of motoring magazines and other trade publications, including the programme for the 2004 Irish Motor Show.

Some of our pictures belong to other photographers - we will pass any requests to publish these pictures on to the original author. Please mail us for details.

Use on other Websites

Almost all of the pictures on our site can be used on other websites providing you create a link to our site crediting us for the picture. Pictures for printed media can be provided. Our terms on these vary according to the publication, though often a credit for our services will secure the pictures you require. Note - that some pictures are shown on our site with the permission of other photo agencies. Where this is the case you must refer to the copyright holder for permission to use their pictures on your own site, or for any other purpose. Links are provided to pictures from other sources.

Contributing to Pictures of Cars

We welcome contributions from other photographers - your pictures will be credited to you, and requests for copies of your work will be forwarded to you. We are also happy to publish manufacturer's photographs where these provide new information to our users. Please contact us for details.

Quality Cars for Sale

Pictures of Cars does not offer for sale any of the cars shown on our site. However, we do have partners who can source a vehicle of your choice. If you wish to buy anything from an Audi to a Volkswagen, please let us know and we'll get a reputable contact to find you a good price on the vehicle of your choice. Alternatively, check the links on the right hand side of our pages to find a great deal on the car of your choice.
