Driving Days

Noble at Driving Day organised by Everyman Racing.

We've been to quite a few experiences including track days and off road events and always enjoy and remember them.  The above Noble was shot at a great driving day in Leicestershire.  

The actual event was a Porsche driving day offering tuition in a Porsche 996 911 and a Porsche 986 Boxster and that was great fun, though we couldn't resist the option of a few extra laps around the circuit in the  Fibreglass bodied Twin Turbo Noble.  

Driving the Boxster and the 911 back to back was a great way to experience the different abilities of the two awesome cars.  The extra power of the 911 was noticeable, though for much of the twisty track used for our experience it wasn't possible to exploit that to the full.  Consequently the Boxster was actually the better drive of the two thanks to its mid engine balance.  That said, there was a chance to get the back end of the 911 trailing around some of the corners.  The instructors also provided exciting fast laps in the 911 and the Boxster to show how the cars could perform with an experienced driver at the wheel, and to add to the fun a Honda S2000 was also used by the instructors to demonstrate some of the skills needed for a fast lap.
