The HULME.F1Champion1967, which is named in honour of the 1967 Formula 1 World
champion Denny Hulme, will be seen internationally for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2005.
Powered by a BMW M5 V8 producing 450bhp, and weighing only 1175Kg, the car is expected to have quite phenomenal performance.
The F1Champion1967 is the work of Jock Freemantle, together with Associate Professor Tony Parker, who is one of New Zealands leading industrial designers, and ex DesignWorksUSA design consultant Chuck Pelly.
The car looks great on paper and the pre-production mock ups we've seen are
superb. And it should be beautiful in the skin too as Tony Parker is head of the Department of Three Dimensional Design
Studies at Massey University. As these drawings show, the Hulme
Supercar will be a beautiful looking machine with gorgeous sweeping
lines which flow from the huge front spoiler around the passenger
compartment and back to the wide rear, where the large wheels and
tyres emphasise the car's tribute to the F1 champion.

And the F1Champion1967 won't just be another great looking, high powered dragster. Featuring a 6 speed sequential gearbox, a limited slip diff, and all round independent double wishbone suspension, the car can be expected to be a great drive too.
Components are sourced from the biggest and best names in the industry, including A.P Racing, Bosch, Siemens, Recaro, Koni, Pirelli, Hella, Motec, HRE & Quaife.
We're very much looking forward to seeing the finished vehicle at Geneva, and hope to bring you more news on the car's development before then. Bookmark this page for more news.
