The Pudsey Carnival Committee would like to apologise on behalf of Nick Lee's Circus who were unable to attend the 2010 carnival. This was due to a serious injury to two members of the crew. The committee were only informed of this situation five days before the event giving us little time to rearrange.

Once again our Events Organisers did not let us down and the Stannage Stunt Team was booked at the last minute. With a bit of shuffling and lot of reorganising another spectacular day was completed including an explosive finale.

It was a glorious day as the sun shone down on the massed crowds of Pudsey. Following the official opening by Carnival Queen Gileasa Ebrahim Queens Park was home to another fun-packed afternoon of fun and entertainment. A Wild West Show, Punch and Judy, Majorettes, Gymnastics, a Police Dog Display and Ladies Rugby were just some of the events.

Once again the committee would like to thank everyone who helped with the event in any way. The carnival relies on the support of the local community, organisations and businesses to make all this possible. See you all next year and let us hope that the sun shines again.

The presentation took place in Pudsey Park on Thursday 15th July 2010. Carnival Queen Gileasa Ebrahim, presented the cheque foe £500 to the Pudsey Air Cadets.

The 4th Pudsey Beavers who won the best float shield in the 2010 parade, were also in attendance in uniform showing off the shield.
