The 1995 Street Collection raised almost £900 which was surprisingly £200 lower than
the previous year. There were several theories as to why this shortfall occurred
but fortunately it turned out to be a one-off 'blip'.
However, the Carnival was still able to purchase a secondhand vehicle for the St.
John Ambulance Brigade for their use locally.
