The final Of Braintree's Got Talent took place on Meadowside (Carnival Field) on Carnival Day. Organised by the Rotary Club of
Braintree in aid of local charities. Pictured left is the winner of the 2011 event, Lauren Sheppard.
The contest was again sponsored by Domino's Pizza and £400 in prize money was available to the winners.

You can take part in the carnival in a number of ways:
Enter a float or simply walk in the procession.
Enter the Carnival Queen or Princess competitions.
Hire a pitch but hurry as only a limited number of spaces are available.
Enter the Window Display competition.
