 | Toyota Celica Gen 7 Revision 2 |
| The revision 2 of Toyota's 7th Generation Toyota Celica is most easily distinguished from the Revision 1 by the wide apperture between the Toyota badge and the grill, and the angle of the supports on the front splitter (near the front foglights) which run at about 45% to the horizontal on the Gen 2, compared to those on the Revision 1 which are only a few degrees away from vertical. | |
| In addition to minor styling changes, the revision 2 received a few other upgrades, such as changes to the suspension and, on higher spec models, leather rear seats. Certain models of the original Gen 7 Celica were fitted with leather front seats and leather effect rears. We owned one of these for several years and the fact that the rear's weren't real leather was hardly that obvious, and the Celica's not a car that you're going to choose if you regularly have rear seat passengers. | |
