New Lancias for 2007

| There is some expectation that Lancia will produce a production version of its stunning Fulvia concept in 2007, though this may be wishful thinking. A new Lancia Delta is a more likely proposition. | |
| Lancia's priority is expected to be the release of the new Delta. The car will be based on the same platform as parent company FIAT's new Bravo and Brava and the Alfa 149. | | | But enthusiasts are hoping that the much admired Fulvia concept will see the light of day, perhaps named the Fulvietta. Such a car would be an ideal new model to replace the Barchetta, and Lancia fans would go wild for it. | | | In 2008, further variations of the Delta should emerge including, it's hoped, a 4x4 Integrale which will surely have Lancia enthusiasts reaching for their cheque books. Bringing back these great names from the past may seem sentimental, and there are some who would rather not see them revived. But we think it's a great thing to do. The existence in 2007 or 2008 of a new Integrales or Fulvias takes nothing away from the original cars. | |
